Hard to believe, but some how I made it out of high school with 4 best friends. Yeah, I said 4. And today I am going to tell you about them. Mostly because I am so proud to call each of them my best friend and it probably wouldn't hurt for the internet to know that I don't spend ALL of my time behind my macbook.
I'm going in alphabetical order because I love them all the same.
I met Alicia in my 10th grade biology class. Alicia and I are basically the same person. We will hate your for your entire life for just one annoying thing you did. Which is pretty ironic considering we can be extremely annoying to everyone who doesn't understand our sense of humor. (Which is apparently a lot people.) Alicia doesn't sleep in cars which means she always stays awake with me on road trips. South of the border being a prime example. We share a disorder called fangirling. She is a bit sicker than I am, but we understand each others obsessions. Everyone meet Alicia, the queen of calling shot gun.

Caroline and I met in the 2nd grade. I don't know how, or why we became friends. Other than the fact that I was probably the coolest 2nd grader at Harnett Primary, it probably had a lot to do with the fact that I knew how to give out the cootie shot. Middle School is when we spent almost every weekend together. Our Moms were best friends, so they would go out for the night leaving us to our hide and seek, our make out sessions with Justin Timberlake and Freddie Prince Jr, and losing the dog in the crawl space under the house. We stayed up all night finishing our science olympiad test, and got those horrible blue Nextel phones together. Yep, everyone was envious. Meet Caroline, the over achiever.

Mikey came into my life somewhere around Junior year. I'm pretty sure it was History class when there were no desk left so I sat on the floor. I was am an asshole, what can I say? Mikey was somewhat my wingman. Always telling me when guys played for my team (were straight), and would help me with chapstick notes that were stuck to my shoe. I'll skip the explanation. Mikey always hosted our "get togethers" because he had the coolest Mom, and the countless hours we spent in his kitchen smothered with cows will forever be some of my favorite memories. Mikey also acted as the Mother figure. No firecrackers were to go off late at night, and no drunk dialing. If only we could find that party mix that lived in his cd player. Meet Mikey, the dramatic singer.

Sarah and I met in the 2nd grade. Sarah and Caroline are sisters, so much of our history is the same. We spent quite a bit of time playing four square on the drive way and she accompanied my panic the night we thought Caroline got kidnapped during our typical hide and seek game. During a harmless game of truth or dare (and I should mention it was only us three playing) Sarah and I dared Caroline to eat a leaf. We were jerks, but I remember her gagging and spitting it out like it was yesterday. Sarah and I would also dress up as TV show host and perform for Caroline, and looking back I can see so much disgust in her face for the both of us. Although, Caroline never really approved of any of Sarah and I's ventures. We were too cool for her anyways. ALL THA PEOPLE IN THA PLACE meet Sarah, the comedian.

My world would be completely upside down with out these four people. I am convinced they were put on this earth for me. My love for them is so unconditional and we are probably still friends because they love me unconditionally. I am so proud of everything they have done, and the people they have become.
I guess I am done bragging about how wonderful my friends are now.
Love this post! That's great that you all stayed friends; I'm hardly friends with anyone I went to HS with, and I graduated the same year as you. But don't worry, I made new friends ;) lol
