This post is very serious to me and it's something that I am very passionate about. Therefore it will be written in many different posts. I don't want it to be too overwhelming and I don't want to bore anyone.

Part of the reason that I am so passionate about sexism is because for three and a half years I worked in a car dealership. Most of that time I was a service advisor. Basically a service advisor works between the customer and the technician. I greeted customers, did all the paperwork, created estimates for maintenance items and things that needed to be fixed, I explained these items to the customer and sold this work. It's no secret that when people think cars they think men. It's like people think that men are born with a car gene or something.

There were some customers that refused to work with or even talk to a women on the phone about their car. One man had stopped at two desk before mine (both desk were men), I asked him if I could help him and he says "I can't figure out where this piece goes, but you probably don't know" and turned around to walk away. I stopped him and explained exactly where that piece belonged in his car. (In your face asshole!) He must have sensed how ironic I thought the situation was because he came back inside to apologize and thank me for my help.

There was also a women who said to me "I just don't understand how you girls learn so much about these cars" Quickly I responded "We learn just the same as men do".

When Megan Fox opened up the hood of bumblebee in Transformers and knew what the hell she was talking about was amazing. But the fact that everyone acted so shocked is pure ignorance.

A woman doesn't "belong" in the kitchen. A woman belongs wherever she would like to belong. Whether that be in the kitchen or under the hood. Of course this goes much further than mechanics, it's just an example that I can relate to.

Society is so quick to tell us things that are acceptable depending on whether we are male or female. How come someone with a penis can drop the F bomb every other word, but when I do it I am being un-ladylike. Fuck you. Once, I had a guy tell me how unattractive it was that I smoked. He was smoking as he said this..

The worst part is, its not just men who can be so sexist. Women are equally sexist. Not just about other women but even about themselves. Honestly, it can be hard for women because of what society tells them.

I could go on forever about society and how shitty we've become. Don't translate this into me saying women are the victims. You're missing the point. I just want everyone to look outside of societies definitions. Also, trust that there are many more posts like this to come. We would be here for days if I put it all in one post.

Although I'm a bit late, I am still linking up with I wore yoga pants because I can't resist. I was never a huge Michael Jackson fan, but this version of Billie Jean is so great to me. What do you think?
