BACK TO HELL/SCHOOL

Whenever I decided to go back to school I had some mixed feelings. I was very excited to finally be pursuing something I loved but I was also terrified because the last time I went to school was a little over three years ago.

My first day I was a bit nervous and all my professors made us play that stupid game where you tell the class your name and something interesting about you. If I am not working or at school, I am either behind my macbook or lost in the Netflix world. What the hell is so interesting about me that the entire class would want to hear? NOTHING.

Now that I am in my second week of classes everything feels pretty normal. Not much has changed in the college world in the past few years.

Kids still don't realize that the stairs and hallway would be much easier to navigate if they used it like they drive on the road. Stay to one side and it will flow a hell of a lot better.

The parking is horrendous. Yesterday I had to drive around for 15 minutes in order to find a spot to park. Not an up close spot, just a spot to park my truck. About 8 minutes in I saw a volvo steal a spot right out from under a volkswagon and that girl was pissed. It was funny to me, until I realized I still didn't have a spot.

There are still those people who instead of actually listening to what the professor has already said 3 times have to ask questions. I am pretty sure these people time it so that every 7 minutes they blurt out a random question that might or might not be related to whats currently going down.

I haven't decided yet if those are the same people that are always confused about what's going on in class. I am not trying to be insensitive, but jesus christ take notes or something. I know the professor is tired of repeating herself and I'll be damned if I'm not tired of hearing her repeat herself.

I am pleasantly surprised that the professors don't use up every second of class time. I am constantly getting out of class 10 or 15 minutes early. I don't spend nearly as much time staring at the clock counting the seconds.

Since I am at a community college, a lot of students are single moms trying to better their education and let me just say kudos to you. I cannot imagine working a full time job, having kids and going back to school. My hat is off to you, cause I would be making my kids do my homework while I took a nap.

Since I promised myself I would limit my amount of procrastination I am going to take care of some homework. See yah later party peeps.

  1. Those people would always annoy me. Especially when they look for easy participation points—it doesn't count if it's a useless question, idiot! Haha good luck with the semester!

  2. Good luck with the homework! Its their choice to go back to school so they should rally with the rest of the people there who want to learn!

  3. I always have trouble with figuring out what's "interesting" about me too....I'm nothing? Haha Do you mind if I ask where you're in school? Only cause I think you live where I used to live!

  4. OMG I hope you have a good school year, lol. I hate whenever they make you do that stupid what's your name, who are you, etc. game.
