I went from waiting tables to delivering pizzas (for a top company mind you), in which this also applies because we still get below minimum wage on top of using our own vehicles for work w/o mileage pay. I don't believe I could ever not tip someone, I just think I would tip them a little less. It's hard working off tips.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849348904817934677.post-32131634438148658242013-08-07T19:22:06.358-07:002013-08-07T19:22:06.358-07:00Totally understood! How well you were taken care of, not the amount of your bill. BUT with that being said, there have been times I have not tipped. I don't like feeling uncomfortable or like I'm such a burden to a waitress/waiter. Since moving up to Houston I noticed a lot of them are like that... So we tip based off of how nice they are and how many times they check on us. If it is busy, we still tip if we were only checked on once...but I kid you not, there have been times where I was asked, "What do you want?" and "I guess" was a reply. I have never been a waitress and I never want to be because I can see how hard it is! They deserve to get an extra buck or two!

As for the yard sale, ADVERTISE. If your city or state has a yard sale site, post on it that you are having a yard sale. put up signs, tell all your friends, and let go of the crap you DON'T want to sell :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10484435687000061205noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849348904817934677.post-2754321531062014642013-08-07T06:28:58.625-07:002013-08-07T06:28:58.625-07:00I always overtip. I usually tip 20% automatically and a bit more if the server was great. I would never stiff a server but I probably could be less generous when they are terrible.Kate @ Another Clean Slatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08646464393586461119noreply@blogger.com
